800 Necklaces: Handmade to Honor and Connect

I started this year with a very big project: hand-making 800 necklaces! But their purpose is even bigger. Over the coming year, these necklaces will be sent to women across Ohio who experience a stillbirth.  From designing the necklace way back in 2019, to making thousands by hand since 2020, being a part of this project has been one of my greatest honors as a jewelry artist. Behind the Scenes: Making Jewelry with Pine Needles

Whenever I make a new collection of one-of-a-kind jewelry, I love to use it as an opportunity to experiment and play. For The Return of Spring collection, I gave Needle Casting a try! The collection is all about capturing and celebrating the resiliency of Winter and the hope of Spring, so incorporating these “evergreen” materials seemed like the perfect, seasonal fit!
