These hook earrings feature copper-enameled discs swinging from airy twisted links. Hints of golden yellow and fiery red highlight the natural deep, brick red of the copper base. The hooks and links are lightly oxidized to tone down the silver and let the colors shine.
Your piece was cut by hand from a sheet of copper. Layers of powdered glass enamel were sprinkled on. Then the pieces were fired in a kiln to melt the glass and heat up the copper, fusing the two together. The backside is covered with a solid black enamel.
