These Waxing and Waning pendants celebrate the way the moon holds space as it cycles through its stages. They each feature a Full Moon, partially radiant and bright, partially textured and holding space, created with a silversmithing technique called the marriage of metals. This technique combines two pieces of metal into one flat sheet. From there, these full moons were cut out, rounded, and soldered by hand to radiantly hammered backplates. They feature a light patina on the textured moon portion and swing from a diamond-cut wheat chain. Truly a beautiful statement and celebration of the moon.
